Hello Again Friends!
Tennille Gore Photography, Katie Mathews Photography, The Bump & Beyond and Wilmington Parent Magazine, have all teamed up to bring you the 4th Annual Santa Sessions and Toy Drive event! In addition to meeting the "Big Man" himself, without the long lines at those other places, we are also doing a toy drive. The toys collected will be donated to area charities and families in need.
Cost and what is included: the cost of the Standard Santa Session is $99* for up to three children. For more than three children there is a $25 fee per child. Session fee includes 4 digital images from your session via download that are printable to an 8x10. You will get a gallery of all final images to choose from. Additional images may be purchased a la carte. (If there are more than three children you'll receive one additional file per child.)
The first 25 clients to book the $99 standard session will receive an additional digital file with the coupon code 2019SANTA.
We will continue to offer a limited number of "Drop n Run/Quickie" sessions. These are for those that have just 1 child or group or who only need/want just one photo at a more budget friendly price. Cost is $55 and includes 1 digital image via download.
**NEW FOR 2019**
We are so excited to add another type of Santa Session this year. We will be offering just a few "Baking with Santa - The Experience" sessions. These sessions are for those that want more one on one time with Santa and have all the magic captured. You get a full 20 minutes with the “Big Man” himself; plenty of time to chat and make some memories. Cost is $399 and includes 10 digital files via download and one of them will have an extra “magic edit.”
Finally, you will also have the opportunity to pre-purchase all of the images we select from your session for $149, this upgrade price will only be this low for a limited time.
You will have the opportunity if you'd like to purchase holiday cards, prints, and wall art. More information will be sent about that soon.
*In addition to your session fee, bring a new unwrapped toy ($15 value) OR $15 at the door (and we'll shop for a toy or make a donation.) Keep in mind that our new studio is located in The Bump & Beyond and she will have some toys available for purchase in this price range.
Reservations will be made on a first come first served basis. Session retainers are non refundable and paid in full at checkout.
Once an appointment has been reserved you will receive a receipt. We will email you additional details (i.e. location/directions, reminders etc.) a few days before the event.
Standard Santa Sessions are scheduled every 20 minutes and there will be three appointments booked for each time slot. As each family arrives/checks in we will do your session in order of arrival. You must be on time. Please understand, we cannot change this rule, as we will have other families coming right after you.

Due to the nature of this year’s theme and design we will be limited in the amount of work arounds that we are able to do for those children who may be apprehensive or terrified of Santa. We will not be able to sneak him in and move him in and out as in prior years because we will not be shooting from floor level. The layout of the set simply won’t allow it. Please keep this in mind when selecting your session option. There will be an option to composite him into the image as a last resort for a small fee. If you think your child may be frightened, at least one parent (or older sibling) should be prepared to be in the photo with the child if need be so you can hold them and/or help distract by playing with the kitchen tools etc.
All Santa Sessions will take place in our new studio located in The Bump and Beyond

October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month
You guys know pregnancy loss is a subject that is especially close to my heart. In honor of October being Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness month, I am offering waived session fees for one day of in studio maternity mini sessions for expectant rainbow baby moms. Each participant will receive the one watermarked image file for social media sharing. Additional images and prints will be made available to purchase.
Any gestational week is eligible to participate, however there will be a limited number of appointments.

Katie Mathews Photography and I have decided we will offer a Styled Christmas limited edition session in-studio on 12/1 mid morning and afternoon by appointment only. Please contact me if this time doesn't work for you but you are still interested as we may add an additional evening.We may add a weekday evening in the first week of December.
More sneak peeks from the set can be found below. This set would work for a Christmas look for dressy clothing or pajamas if you'd rather, $99 for a 10 minute session on one set and one digital file, printable to 8x10, other images available a la carte purchase.
Alternatively if you opt for a $249 larger package bring both! We will have two sets to choose from, 20 minute appointments will have the chance to be photographed on both sets and will include 5 digital files. Or if you know you won't be able to narrow it down that far the option of 10 files is available for $349.

HURRICANE RELIEF SUPPLY DRIVE and Petite Photo Session
Katie and I have decided we will offer a fall limited edition session in studio on 10/27/18.
This set would work for a fall look or for Halloween costumes if you'd rather. We will be offering it as a chance to collect items needed for hurricane relief. As such the session fee will be $55 for one digital file printable to 8x10, bring $25 in hurricane relief supplies and receive a total of three. You may also choose to upgrade ahead of time and purchase five for $99 plus your hurricane relief supplies. Or go all in, $199 up to 10 files and extended session time. We will offer 20- 10 minute appointments, up to four children or family of four per sitting.

Spent my rainy Friday photographing this little miracle. 
Infertility, pregnancy loss, and infant loss are very near to my heart. In October I usually offer a courtesy mini session event for moms who are expecting rainbow babies no matter how far along they may be. I figured I'd start early this year with my list of moms so more might be able to participate. I am beyond excited to share my latest Wilmington Parent cover!
It's always fun to come up with a concept to take is a step beyond my last one. This cover was especially awesome for me because they allowed me to take my vision and run with it. The October Halloween issue is a great chance to go a little beyond!
We went out on location to shoot this cover at Fort Fisher in Wilmington, NC. Some elements were of course added in post production. The beach, boy, and waves are 100% real!

A beautiful baby and her sweet mama came in to the new studio today. I love it when little ones sleep soundly! I'm getting a case of baby fever with all of the little ones I've met lately!
Today we worked out some lighting solutions at our new studio. I couldn't have had a better baby to play with! This little one was a dream!
We ventured outdoors this afternoon on a whim to use my new prop and take advantage of the delicious light! This doll was so happy to be swaddled tight. This is the first little girl at our brand new studio 5725 Oleander Drive, Suite C-4, in Wilmington, NC.

This baby... I could have held him all day! What a sweet little chunky love bug! I knew he was going to be just as easy to love as his parents! He did not disappoint!
Outdoor Newborn Session at the Arboretum- Wilmington, NC Newborn Photographer
We took this sweet little girl on her first trip to the arboretum for an outdoor newborn session today.
Sometimes inspiration comes from the theme of the nursery. Everyone loves a hot air balloon ride!
We traveled a little way out of town to find a field that would work for this session. These two are just too sweet! I cannot wait to meet their little boy! I know he is going to be gorgeous! The camera loves them! Who am I kidding? I do too!! They are so much fun! I love maternity session that allow me to be free to create!
This darling travelled over an hour to come for her custom newborn session. She was totally ready for her close up! We used fresh flowers for this set up and I couldn't be happier with how well it turned out.

We took a trip up I-40 to the Historic Burgaw Train Depot to shoot this fellas milestone session. He is already a word traveller so it only seemed appropriate that we capture that sentiment. It's very important to me that each session is unique and fitting for each client.
I have been asked to photograph the cover of Wilmington Parent Magazine for March 2016. This issue is also special because it features a horse on the cover, a first for the magazine. It was such a fun session and I love the way that it turned out!
I love being able to create something new and different for each clients. This little princess was able to sleep despite the stinky old pea.
It's always fun to see old friends, but it's even more fun when they bring a baby! I have known this sweet one's mom since we were kids! Time flies! I love being able to capture their new memories and being a part of them

This guy came ready for his close up! Did you know that I customize each session for each client? Sometimes moms like to be more creative even bringing their own props for the session. The design of a session is planned ahead of the the babies arrival in many cases. It's so important to book your newborn appointment early so that we have time to really plan and tailor your session.
